It’s already June 17th and we lost track of time getting busy with too many things.
April was filled with 3 weekends of 5 dog shows (Including the Cane Corso Nationals, Great Dane Club of Maryland, and Potomac Valley Samoyed Club specialty), Yappy Hour at The Wine Bin in Ellicott City (www.WineBinEC.com) and so much going on that I can’t even remember it.
May was filled with mastiffs. The big show at Bucks and Trenton in PA and NJ before a quick turn around with the images to be ready to attend the wedding of a buddy of the studios. Then off to PA to get a break from the mastiffs for two hours before greeting 7 mastiffs at our launch point to take 4 of them out to Joplin, MO to enjoy a week of the Mastiff Club of America’s National Specialty.
Once I got back it was 2 weeks of editing images before another Yappy Hour at The Wine Bin again that got postponed for a week because of the tropical storm coming through and poured the entire evening.
In this last week we’ve gotten next year’s calendar shoot scheduled, and to help cover the expenses for it we started a Kickstarter.com campaign to get it published. We have only 26 more days left to get the goal reached as it’s an all or nothing situation where if we don’t reach the goal, those who pledged money to the project don’t have any taken money charged, but the project also doesn’t get funded…
