Going in to 2025 there are some changes for us.
First and foremost, we will be focusing on getting more dogs into our Columbia, MD photography studio for their portraits. We are opening more days in our schedule to allow for more portrait sessions in our studio schedule. If you’d like to bring your beauties into the studio, email us at Info@BSPhotography.net and we’ll get you in to have coffee at the studio while we make plans for the session. To facilitate this, we will be limited the number of days we will be freelancing and doing candid images at dog shows this year. We will still be available to photograph them but have set up rates to allow us come to photograph at the shows.
We are starting a new program to help allow more access to having B.S. Photography portraits for their homes. For the past 4 years our photographer, Bryan, has been secretly squirreling away a portion of his pay to use and cover sessions and products for lower income clients and older pets to get portraits done. We have set up a scholarship of sorts to allow more the opportunity to have portraits taken and are opening it up for others to add to the funds. You can donate by clicking this scholarship link to make your donations. We will be setting up a page for applications to get a portrait session done through that scholarship soon. Check our website for more details as they come.
Our last big change, is that we will not be doing shoots specifically for a calendar this year. Instead we will be taking the best images from our in studio portrait sessions from January through June and putting them in the running for our calendar spots this year. If you want a shot at being in our 2026 calendar, all you need to do is have a portrait session in our Columbia, MD studio.
There is a plan in the works for at least one, possibly 2 on location portrait travel trips this year. Email us at Info@BSPhotography.net to get on the list for more information when it becomes available.
There will be a few more things, like non photoshoot fun days at the studio doing things like rock paintings, but we will post about those later.
